Camp Dietler Stickers

I am a huge sticker fanatic, and always look forward to any opportunity to add to the massive collection that covers my laptop, water bottles, and any other surface I can get my hands on. Stickers are a great way for a person to showcase to the world the things they're interested in, the things they care about, and the places they've been. That's why I wanted to design stickers specifically for Camp Cortlandt Dietler, the summer camp that I am the Camp Director for. I wanted a simple, yet still eye-catching, design that would work well in a small format. The small size (2" x 2") makes it easy to fit this sticker anywhere, even if someone already owns a lot of stickers. In my mind, the simple illustrations of trees, mountains, and stars capture the "feel" of being at camp and the unique hexagon die-cut shape makes the sticker stand out even more. I made my design in Adobe Illustrator, and had them printed through StickerMule.

I created two versions of the Dietler sticker. Both have the same design; the only difference is the text that appears underneath "Camp Cortlandt Dietler." The lines are taken from The Dietler Grace, which is used at camp before meals.
For the wind in the trees,
For the friends that we make,
And for this paradise we call home,
We thank thee O Lord
With the "For the friends that we make version" version, I had approximately 100 printed. I distributed these among members of camp staff as well as other close friends. There will be a significantly larger order of the "paradise we call home" version, which will then be sold at camp in the Trading Post.
